Polo home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Polo fell by $3,500 while total sales increased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $65,000 - a 5.1% decrease over the $68,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Polo in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Polo for 2019 was $1,831. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,832. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
