Polo home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Polo fell by $16,500 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,500 - a 19.4% decrease over the $85,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Polo in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Polo for 2018 was $1,832. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,818. This marks an increase of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.7%.
