Davis Junction home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Davis Junction fell by $9,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $149,000 - a 5.7% decrease over the $158,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Davis Junction in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Davis Junction for 2018 was $3,806. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,667. This marks an increase of 3.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
