City of East Dubuque issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
The East Dubuque District Library Foundation is excited to announce the Capital Campaign for the Library Expansion and Renovation. The campaign began quietly with a pledge from CVR, Energy. Next, a family in East Dubuque offered a full-match challenge donation of $400,000. And, the Library was awarded a State of Illinois Library Construction Grant for $433,172. Both the full-match donation and the State funding will be realized when the community raises the last $400,000. When this happens, the entire project is $1.6M!
