The second half of 2021: Freeport experienced a 0.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Freeport rose by $350 while total sales increased by 17.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 328 homes sold, with a median sale price of $71,100 - a 0.5% increase over the $70,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 280 homes sold in Freeport in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,438, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
