2021: Home prices in Nelson increased

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Nelson rose by $25,500 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 36.7% increase over the $69,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Nelson in 2020.

The median sales tax in Nelson for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,041, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for 2021.
