January 2022: Freeport experienced a 28.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2022 in Freeport rose by $21,000 while total sales increased by 47.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2022, there were 31 homes sold, with a median sale price of $94,000 - a 28.8% increase over the $73,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Freeport in January 2021.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,438, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for January 2022.
