Pecatonica Elementary School won second place and $300 from the judges for their tree, "Art Brings Us Together."

In the People's Choice category, the Lincoln-Douglas Fourth Grade won second place and a $200 prize for their tree, "Together is a Great Place to Be."

"United in Christ's Love" by Tri-County Christian School won third place in the People's Choice category, garnering a $100 prize.

The FHN Community Festival of Trees brings non-profit organizations from across the area to decorate holiday trees, with cash prizes awarded by a panel of judges and the public. The Community Festival of Trees is on display free of charge at the Freeport Public Library (100 E. Douglas Street in Freeport) through Thursday, Dec. 22. The trees also may be viewed online on FHN's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/FHNhealth.
