For over eighteen years, Janette Kutz has been a dedicated member of the Imaging team at KSB. At the beginning of her journey with KSB, Janette worked in radiology, flowing between the clinic and filling in for mammography when needed. Eventually finding her home in mammography, she discovered the work with patients to be rewarding, not only performing vital diagnostic work but also providing support before, during, and after a patient’s exam when it can be an uncomfortable and potentially nerve-wracking time.
Janette has provided this kind of caring support in mammography for the last six years. “Janette is always smiling and very friendly,” says Lori Baratta, Mammography Manager. “She treats her patients like family, has a great work ethic, and is a real team player.”
The patients are not the only group Janette will be missing as she begins her post-retirement routines and adventures, “Mammography and X-ray have such great team members,” says Janette. “They are like family to me, and I will miss them very much.”
When asked what those plans for retirement would be, Janette replied, “Traveling and spending time with the grandkids.” Now that sounds like a plan!
