City of Rock Falls Industrial Development Commission met Dec. 15.

Call to Order

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Michael Clark.

Roll call was taken

Meeting began at 4:01PM

Approval of 11/17/2022 Meeting Minutes

A motion was made by Patty Martinez and second by Lori Cortez to approve the minutes from the 11/17/2022 meeting with changes consisting of the addition of the sale price and clarification that only the parcels to the west of Clearwater Dr are being sold.

Roll call was taken

Motion carried; minutes approved

The acceptance, or rejection of bid received from Timothy Kendrick for the sale of parcels 1134251003 & 1134251004

Mayor Kleckler informed members that he received no interest to purchase from surrounding property owners.

A brief discussion had amongst members

A motion was made by John Larson and second by Dave Devries to accept the bid received from Timothy Kendrick for the sale of parcels 1134251003 & 1134251004

Roll call was taken

All yes; motion carried

Robbin Blackert informed members that the contract w/ United Metal Buildings has been extended to 1/16/2023.

Mark Searing informed members there will be new business going into the old AT&T building. He informed members there had been an interest in the West Industrial Park as well.
