NIRW Northern Illinois Republican Women & Friends to host ‘Coffee Talk’ event on Saturday

Northern Illinois Republican Women & Friends (NIRW) is hosting a community event called "Coffee Talk" this Saturday, July 29, at the Spring Garden Family Restaurant.

The "Coffee Talk" event, organized by NIRW, promises to be an engaging and informative get-together for members and supporters of the Republican party. Taking place at the Spring Garden Family Restaurant, the event is open to the public.

“NIRW Coffee Talk,” the event’s organizer Katie Davis said on Facebook. 

The event provides an opportunity to bring together like-minded Republicans and friends together for this occasion noting it presents an excellent opportunity to foster community spirit and discuss important political issues facing the region and the nation. The gathering will provide attendees with a chance to connect with fellow Republicans, share ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations. Topics of discussion may range from local policies to national politics, and participants are encouraged to bring their insights and perspectives. With an inclusive approach, the "Coffee Talk" event aims to strengthen ties among members of the Republican party and their friends in Northern Illinois. Networking and building a supportive community will be key elements of the gathering. Those interested in attending can head to the Spring Garden Family Restaurant on July 29 to take part in "Coffee Talk." 

The NIRW Northern Illinois Republican Women Facebook page offers several opportunities for local conservatives to get involved.

NIRW holds regular meetings and gatherings to connect with members and foster discussion. They meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm and host weekly Saturday morning Coffee Talks from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at various locations. Interested individuals can find the schedule on the home page of the NIRW website. As a national, twice-bronze award-winning club, NIRW prides itself on providing a platform for like-minded individuals to come together and work towards a brighter future. The group belongs to the larger Illinois Federation of Republican Women which traces its roots back to 1896 when a group of Illinois women recognized the significance of political action after being granted the right to vote in school elections. It was not until the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified on Aug. 18, 1920, that women were federally guaranteed the right to vote.
