Regular meeting minutes of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Rock Falls
The regular meeting of the Mayor and City Council of Rock Falls, Illinois was called to order at 5:30 p.m. on November 21, 2023, in the Council Chambers by Mayor Rod Kleckler.
City Clerk Pam Martinez called the roll following the pledge of allegiance. A quorum was present including Mayor Kleckler, Aldermen McKanna, Snow, Dowd, Dornes, and Arduini. In addition, Attorney Matt Cole and City Administrator Robbin Blackert were present. Absent: Alderman Wangelin and Sobottka

Mayor Kleckler asked for a vote via voice, all approved.

Consent Agenda:
Consent Agenda items 1-2 were read aloud by City Clerk Pam Martinez.
1. Approval of the minutes of the November 7, 2023, City Council Meeting.
2. Approval of bills as presented.
A motion was made by Alderman Snow to approve the Consent Agenda and second by Alderman Dowd.
Vote 6 aye, motion carried.
Resolutions:
1. Resolution 2023-915-Resolution for Improvement Under the Illinois Highway Code - Avenue A from 3rd Street to 10th Street - 23-00138-00-FP.
A motion was made by Alderman Snow to approve Resolution 2023-915 for the Improvement Under the Illinois Highway Code - Avenue A from 3rd Street to 10th Street - 23-00138-00-FP and second by Alderwoman Arduini.
Vote 6 aye, motion carried.
City Administrator:
1. Agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc., 192 Exchange Blvd., Glendale Heights,
IL 60139 for professional consulting services in connection with the USEPA Grant. A motion was made by Alderman Snow to approve the agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc., 192 Exchange Blvd., Glendale Heights, IL 60139 for professional consulting services in connection with the USEPA Grant and second by Alderwoman McKanna.
Vote 6 aye, motion carried.

Mayor's Report:
The last pick up for yard waste will be your last pick up of regular trash pickup in November.
A motion was made by Alderman Snoe to adjourn the City Council meeting and second by Alderwoman McKanna.
Vote via voice, all approved, motion carried (5:38 pm)
