State Representative Bradley Fritts (R-Dixon) recently hosted the Emerging Women Leaders Event in Springfield, where local women were recognized for their accomplishments. Among the attendees were Haley Brill, owner of Midwestern Clothing Company, and Sam Setchell, CEO of the Mendota Chamber of Commerce.

In a statement, Rep. Fritts expressed his excitement about the event, saying, “I was thrilled to welcome Haley Brill and Sam Setchell to the Emerging Women Leaders Event yesterday. Both Haley and Sam have accomplished extraordinary things in their work that make our community a better place.”

The event provided a platform for women to engage in a brunch, listening session, and informational seminars led by other women in leadership positions. Rep. Fritts highlighted the significance of the gathering, stating, “This event was a great way for Haley, Sam, and dozens of other women from across Illinois to network and learn more from other women who have succeeded in their roles as leaders.”

House Republican Leader Tony McCombie also recognized the contributions of the attendees, including Haley and Sam, who were part of the group of nearly 60 women from various parts of the state.

Looking ahead, Rep. Fritts expressed optimism about the future successes of the women who participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of supporting and empowering women in leadership roles.
