On April 3, 2024, Rep. McCombie announced a special opportunity for families in the 89th District to visit Chicago's world-class museums for free. The pass, provided by the Museums in the Park Organization, allows constituents to explore a variety of museums on a first-come, first-serve basis.

"I encourage area families to take advantage of this great resource and the opportunity to see all the museums the city of Chicago has to offer," said McCombie, emphasizing the value of this initiative. With the warmer months approaching, McCombie highlighted the pass as a fun activity for families to consider during the upcoming summer break.

To reserve the Constituent Education Resource Card, families are required to contact McCombie's office at (815) 291-8989 and provide their name, address, and preferred visit dates (up to 3 consecutive days). It's important to note that only one group of up to four individuals can reserve the pass at a time.

As part of the process, families are advised to check with the museum they plan to visit to inquire about any pre-registration requirements. This ensures a smooth and enjoyable museum experience for all pass holders.

The opportunity to explore Chicago's museums for free presents a valuable chance for constituents to engage in cultural and educational experiences within their community. Rep. McCombie's initiative aims to provide families with access to enriching activities while promoting the diverse cultural offerings of the city.
