Construction work on U.S. 6, spanning the cities of La Salle and Peru, is set to commence on Monday, May 13. The designated work zone will extend from the bridge over the Little Vermillion River in La Salle to 3575 E. Street, situated west of Peru.

Motorists are advised to anticipate delays and should allocate additional time for their journeys through this area. They should also be prepared for slow-moving and halted traffic. The project is estimated to reach completion by the summer of 2025.
