Several professions in Illinois have licenses up for renewal on September 30. With ongoing delays at the state’s Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is urging constituents to renew their licenses as soon as possible.

Licenses due for renewal include those for certified public accountants, physical therapists, physical therapy continuing education sponsors, approved dental/dental hygienist continuing education sponsors, cosmetologist teachers, cosmetologist schools, cosmetology clinic teachers, esthetician teachers, esthetician schools, clinical psychologists, clinical psychologist continuing education sponsors, prescribing psychologists, and others.

Leader McCombie and her House Republican colleagues have expressed concerns about the issues at IDFPR and have advocated for practical solutions. "Changes are necessary for this department to better serve Illinois residents," McCombie stated.

Residents can renew their licenses online at https://online-dfpr.micropact.com/. For further assistance, they may contact Leader McCombie’s office at 815-291-8989.
