Construction on Interstate 39 through La Salle County will commence on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The project will involve patching 36 miles of I-39 in La Salle County, from the Marshall County line to just south of the Lee County line. Intermittent lane closures will occur throughout the duration of the project, which is anticipated to be completed by November.
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to allow extra time for trips through this area, as well as to prepare for slow and stopped traffic.
