Road construction in Dixon starts September 16, causing lane closures

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will commence road construction on Monday, September 16th, focusing on bridge deck repairs in the Dixon area. The project will necessitate lane closures on US 20 / IL84, approximately 200 feet north of Glen Hollow Road.

Construction is anticipated to conclude by 3 p.m. on Friday, September 27th. IDOT has advised motorists to anticipate delays and allocate additional travel time when passing through the affected area.
