House Minority Leader Tony McCombie will host two "Medicare 101" events in collaboration with the Illinois Department on Aging’s Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) and State Representatives John Cabello (Machesney Park) and Jeff Keicher (Sycamore). These sessions aim to help seniors understand Medicare.
Experts from SHIP will provide insights into various aspects of Medicare, offering attendees a chance to ask questions and better comprehend the system. Leader McCombie emphasized the importance of these events: “I encourage any senior in the area to come out and have your questions and concerns heard. Medicare is daunting but necessary, and these events are built to help residents understand their options.”
Representative Cabello added, “It’s important that seniors have the information they need to make the best decisions about their healthcare. I encourage anyone with questions about Medicare to attend and take advantage of the expert advice being offered.”
