City of Byron Zoning Board of Appeals met Oct. 24.

A. A request from Haywell, LLC Mill Creek - Tim Hayden (“Applicant”), to  consider a request for a Zoning Map Amendment of the following parcels  located in Mill Creek Phase 3 Subdivision in the City of Byron, Ogle  County Illinois. The parcels are currently zoned R-2 Two-Family  Residential District. The Applicant is proposing a zoning amendment of all  parcels to the R-1 Single-Family Residential District.

The Applicant is further requesting a Zoning Map Amendment for the following  parcels located in Mill Creek Phase 3 Subdivision in the City of Byron, Ogle  County Illinois. The parcels are currently zoned R-3 Multi-Family Residential District. The Applicant is proposing a zoning amendment of all parcels to the R-1  Single-Family Residential District.

The Applicant is further requesting a Zoning Map Amendment for parcels 05-30- 352-002 (north end of Creekside Drive) and 05-31-101-021 (northwest of the  intersection of IL Route 2 and Creekside Drive) located in Mill Creek Subdivision in the City of Byron, Ogle County Illinois. The parcels are currently not zoned and  have no addresses. The Applicant is proposing that each parcel be zoned R-1  Single-Family Residential District.  

B. A request by the City of Byron to consider a Zoning Map Amendment of the  parcel 05-19-326-006 located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Tower  Road and Water Road known as 9251 N. Tower Road in the City of Byron, Ogle  County Illinois. The parcel is currently zoned District No. 4 – Highway Frontage  Business District under the previous zoning code. The Applicant is proposing a  zoning amendment of the parcel to District No. 9 I-1 Light Industrial Zoning  District.
