Illinois House begins fall veto session addressing unfinished issues

On Tuesday, November 12, the Illinois House of Representatives will begin its fall legislative veto session. This marks the first of two weeks of legislative activities, with the second week scheduled to start on November 19.

House Republicans have called for progress on several issues that were not resolved this spring. These include ethics reform, public safety measures, and ongoing public transit concerns.

Illinois residents can watch the proceedings live at ilga.gov when the session resumes at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12.
