Today, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie extended a welcome to new lawmakers at the Capitol. A bipartisan orientation was organized for those recently elected to the 104th General Assembly. During the event, Leader McCombie delivered introductory remarks and offered words of encouragement.

"No matter what caucus you are a part of: our job is to represent our constituents, residents, and families across our state, and I believe we can do that best by working together," stated Leader McCombie.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between parties: "The best policies are bipartisan–while Democrats and Republicans often have differing ideas on how we can and should get to the finish line, the discussions in between matter the most."

The new General Assembly is set to begin early next year, though specific details regarding time and date remain undetermined.
