Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is organizing a blood drive in collaboration with the City of Savanna and the Savanna Fire Department. The event, named the Savanna Community Blood Drive, is scheduled for December 27th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Savanna Fire Department Truck Bay, located at 101 Main Street, Savanna.
The organizers welcome walk-ins but encourage appointments. Those interested in donating can schedule an appointment by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767 or visiting redcrossblood.org.
To expedite the donation process and save up to 15 minutes, donors are advised to complete their pre-donation reading and questionnaire on the day of their appointment through RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass.
