Illinois State Capitol embraces holiday spirit with local celebrations

The holiday season was celebrated with enthusiasm in the 89th District. The Office of the House Minority Leader attended several local events, taking time to appreciate festive decorations and the cheerful atmosphere.

In Springfield, snow flurries added a seasonal touch to the capitol's surroundings. The Illinois State Capitol displayed holiday scenes within its halls.

Governor JB Pritzker hosted a menorah lighting ceremony last week at the Michael A. Bilandic Building in Chicago, where Leader McCombie’s office is situated.
