State Representative Bradley Fritts of Dixon has recognized Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream in Morrison as his local business highlight for January 2025. Rep. Fritts visited the establishment, acknowledging its community contributions with a certificate of appreciation.
“This month, I chose to honor Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream because they provide an excellent, family-friendly dining establishment and remain incredibly involved in our community,” said Rep. Fritts. “They support local schools and sports teams and will offer a helping hand whenever someone needs it.”
The Morrison location of Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream was opened in 1987 by franchise owners Lynn and Kevin Kenady. The couple's daughters have worked at the restaurant during their upbringing.
Rep. Fritts remarked, “Kevin and Lynn are both incredibly involved in our community, both in their capacity as business owners and private citizens. We are lucky to have such dedicated members of our community who work to build a better future for everyone.”
