McCombie pushes for support of DCFS workers through Knight-Silas Act

House Minority Leader Tony McCombie addressed the House Floor regarding the Knight-Silas Act, following a recent incident in St. Clair County. McCombie has been advocating for this legislation since 2018, aiming to provide more support for DCFS workers such as Pam Knight and Dierdre Silas, who were tragically killed while serving vulnerable individuals in the state.

In her continued efforts to pass the legislation, McCombie introduced two new bills: HB1550 and HB1551.
