House Minority Leader and State Representative Tony McCombie is seeking nominations for the annual House Republican Women to Watch event. Residents of her 89th legislative district are invited to nominate a female leader for the event, which will take place on April 22nd at the Capitol.
The event, organized by Leader McCombie, aims to recognize the work of attendees, celebrate their accomplishments, and facilitate networking among emerging women leaders across the state. "This annual event is an opportunity for lawmakers to celebrate women leaders from all corners of our state. It is encouraging to know our state is well served throughout all communities, and having us all together makes for a wonderful day of recognition," said Leader McCombie.
To submit a nomination, residents should email mccombie@ilhousegop.org with “Women to Watch Nomination” in the subject line. The email must include the nominee's name, relation to the nominator, background information about the nominee, and reasons why they should be chosen to attend. Nominations are open until Friday, April 4th.
