State Senator Li Arellano, Jr has announced the continuation of his Mobile Constituent Services program across the 37th Senate District with ten scheduled stops in May. The initiative aims to enhance government accessibility and responsiveness.
“Constituent services are the foundation of what we do. Our mobile office hours are about making government more accessible and responsive to the people we serve,” said Senator Arellano, Jr. “I encourage anyone who needs assistance with a state issue to stop by and meet with my team.”
The schedule for May includes visits to various libraries across Illinois on specified dates:
- On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, services will be available at Pankhurst Memorial Library in Amboy from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Graves-Hume Public Library in Mendota from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Mineral-Gold Public Library in Mineral will host from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by Neponset Public Library from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and Sheffield Public Library from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
- On Tuesday, May 20, Earlville Public Library will provide services from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paw Paw Public Library from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Finally, on Tuesday, May 27, Lillie M. Evans Library District in Princeville will open its doors from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM; Dunlap Public Library District follows from noon until two; Chillicothe Public Library concludes the day’s events between half-past two till half-past four.
Although Senator Arellano will be attending legislative sessions in Springfield throughout May and unable personally attend these events during this period—his staff remains available at each location ready assist residents facing state-related concerns. The senator plans resume personal attendance come June post-session wrap-up.
