City of Dixon City Council met June 23.

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hughes at 4:00pm.
ROLL CALL
Councilman Bishop, Considine, Oros, Venier, and Mayor Hughes answered roll call.
Absent: None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was cited.
VISITOR/PUBLIC COMMENT
None
ORD# 3459 – ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DIXON CITY CODE TITLE 5, CHAPTER 13, SECTION 5-13-12 – RESTRICTIONS OF PERSONAS OF NONAGE
Councilman Venier moved to approve the ordinance amending the Dixon City Code Title 5, Chapter 13, Section 5-13-12 – Restrictions of Persons of Nonage. Seconded by Councilman Considine. Mayor Hughes explained, discussion ensued. Voting Yea: Councilman Bishop, Oros, and Venier. Voting Nay: Councilman Considine and Mayor Hughes. Motion Carried
COMMENTS
Mayor Hughes spoke regarding status of the EV Charging Stations. A possible grant program though ComEd is available to help fund installation. Over the next month we will have a better timeline of the Level 3 EV Charging Stations. Discussion ensued.
Councilman Considine commented a potential property listed for sale. Stating the City should consider for auxiliary parking.
