State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has concluded his 2025 Summer Tour, thanking community members and local organizations for their participation in a series of events across the district. “Life is incredibly busy, and I appreciate you taking the time to come speak with me or learn more about the work we’ve been doing down in Springfield. I also want to give a special thanks to all of the restaurants, libraries, community centers, and more that graciously hosted us for these events,” Fritts said.

With the tour finished, Fritts’ office is planning additional outreach activities for fall and winter. Among upcoming events is a job fair scheduled for Thursday, September 18th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Dillon Mall at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon. The event will connect job seekers with employers such as Central Management Services, Department of Agriculture, Department of Corrections, Department of Human Services, Department of Public Health, Department of Transportation, Department of Revenue, Employment Security, Health & Family Services, Illinois Emergency Management Services, Illinois Secretary of State, and Illinois State Police. Prospective employees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes.

The annual Hunter Safety Course will take place at Rochelle Wildlife Conservation Club on September 20 and 21 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM each day. Attendance on both days is required for completion.

Fritts recently held a Town Hall event in Earlville to discuss legislative updates from Springfield. He also spoke at teacher institute days for Amboy Community Unit School District #272 and Polo Community School District.

His office attended local business openings including Rustic Paw Studio’s grand opening in Downtown Dixon—an establishment that donates part of its proceeds to animal shelters—and Sleek Hair Salon & Scalp Spa’s new location. Spotlight Media’s ribbon cutting was also noted as it joined Discover Dixon.

Additionally, Fritts’ office took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Rochelle Intermodal Transload Center expansion project.

A joint IPASS and ICASH event was hosted at Graves-Hume Public Library with representatives from the Illinois Treasurer’s Office and Illinois Tollway present.

Fritts concluded his summer tour with a final Town Hall event attended by Rochelle Mayor John Bearrows, Steward Village President Hugh McKiski, Fire Chief Galen Cadott, and others. The Lee County Farm Bureau legislative breakfast provided an opportunity for him to address agricultural issues alongside State Senator Li Arellano Jr., as well as representatives from Rep. Darin LaHood’s office.

Community resources highlighted include a free museum pass available through Fritts’ office—allowing up to four people admission at participating Chicagoland museums—and an online Community Calendar listing upcoming local events under state ethics guidelines.

Fritts was elected as a Republican representative for Illinois’ 74th House District in 2023 after succeeding Dan Swanson.

“I encourage all interested job seekers to join us. This event allows us to connect employers with constituents in need of work, which is a win-win for everyone involved!” said Fritts about the job fair.

“As always, I encourage constituents to contact my office with any questions, comments or concerns they may have. I am here to serve you!” he added.

“Thank you to everyone who attended one of these events this year! I have truly enjoyed each and every conversation I’ve had with constituents,” said Fritts.
