State Representative Brad Fritts (R-Dixon) has completed his 2025 Summer Tour, which included 52 stops throughout his district. The tour featured a range of events such as town halls, coffee and conversation gatherings, school visits, business tours, and other community engagements.
“Being a true voice for my constituents is my top priority as a State Representative,” said Fritts. “My annual Summer Tour ensures that’s possible by allowing me to speak directly with hundreds of constituents about their top issues and concerns as residents of our community. I look forward to bringing this feedback with me when we return to Springfield for veto session in October and for our 2026 spring legislative session.
“I want to thank every citizen who engaged with our democratic process and took time out of their day to come speak with me. I also want to thank the incredible businesses, restaurants, and community spaces that graciously hosted these events.”
Fritts was elected as a Republican in 2023 to represent Illinois' 74th House District, succeeding Dan Swanson.
The stops on the tour included locations such as an agriculture roundtable in Sycamore, visits to schools in Amboy and Polo, local business tours at Carquest Auto Parts in Dixon and PC Tech 2U in Rock Falls, legislative updates in Dixon and Rochelle, several senior fairs across DeKalb and Dixon, as well as multiple coffee & conversation events in towns including Amboy, Ashton, Dixon, Franklin Grove, Mendota, Rochelle, Shabbona, and Sterling. Town hall meetings were held in communities such as Compton, Earlville, Lee, Leland, Morrison, Paw Paw, Steward, and Waterman.
