Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie addressed the ongoing issue of high living costs in Illinois during a recent interview with WMBD’s Cameron Maine. McCombie discussed various challenges facing families, including rising energy bills and property taxes, and outlined her proposed solutions aimed at easing these burdens.
“It’s no secret Illinois has a high cost of living, something that has conitnued to burden families throughout the state. Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie recently sat down with WMBD’s Cameron Maine to talk about the issue, and discuss her solutions that would provide much needed relief,” McCombie said.
She emphasized the impact of high energy bills and property taxes on residents, stating: “From high energy bills to sky high property taxes, watch what McCombie has to say about what more can be done to reduce the cost of living in the state.”
McCombie, a Republican, was elected to represent Illinois’ 89th House District in 2023 after succeeding Andrew Chesney.
