There were 120 Black students enrolled in Whiteside County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Black students made up 1.5% of the 8,181 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Among the nine districts in Whiteside County, Sterling Community Unit School District 5 recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 72 students.
