State Representative Brad Fritts (R-Dixon) is partnering with Regional Office of Education #47 to organize a winter clothes drive for students and families in need. The event will take place from November 1 through November 16, with donations being accepted at multiple locations across the area.

The drive seeks new items such as gloves, hats, jackets, coats, scarves, snow pants, snow boots, and socks. Donations can be made either through an Amazon Wishlist or by dropping off items at one of 18 designated locations, including Dinges Fire Company, Emerson’s Pub, Extreme Image Salon, several libraries and city halls, Sauk Valley Community College, and Representative Fritts’ District Office.

“Let’s come together as a community to ensure everyone has warm clothing for the winter season,” said Rep. Fritts. “Every donation will make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors who need some extra help this year. Thank you to the Regional Office of Education, along with our 18 drop-off locations, for partnering with us to make this drive a reality!”

Fritts was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the state’s 74th House District. He succeeded Dan Swanson in this role.
