Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie displayed photos from her annual Spring Photo Contest in the Capitol this week. The contest invites residents to submit photographs that capture people, landscapes, or landmarks across northwest Illinois during the spring season.
This year, a variety of submissions were first shown at McCombie’s District Office over the summer. The collection was then presented in the Capitol Rotunda for public viewing.
McCombie has expressed enthusiasm about continuing the contest next spring. McCombie, a Republican, was elected to represent Illinois’ 89th House District in 2023, succeeding Andrew Chesney.
