This week marked the end of the legislative veto session in the Illinois General Assembly. Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie was active on the House Floor, collaborating with fellow legislators, participating in debates on various bills, and representing constituents from the 89th District.
In addition to her legislative duties, McCombie displayed photographs from her annual Spring Photo Contest in the Capitol Rotunda. The exhibit provided an opportunity for visitors to view local photography throughout the week.
McCombie, a Republican, has represented Illinois's 89th House District since being elected in 2023. She succeeded Andrew Chesney as state representative.
