We owe much to those who serve in the military and their families, according to Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie. As November marks Military Family Month, McCombie highlighted the important role that military families play in supporting service members.
She noted that behind every member of the armed forces is a family facing unique challenges such as long deployments and frequent changes. Despite these hardships, McCombie said military families remain resilient and dedicated.
McCombie expressed her appreciation by stating, “Thank you, military families, for all that you do. Your courage strengthens our nation.”
She called on residents of Illinois to join her in recognizing the contributions of military families throughout the state.
McCombie, a Republican, was elected to represent Illinois’ 89th House District in 2023, succeeding Andrew Chesney.
