On Tuesday, April 15, former Freeport High School standout Maddux Shockey’s current college team, the Luther Norse, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Loras Duhawks.
The game took place at Luther Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Duhawks this season.
The Norse’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. at Dan W. Runkle Baseball Field against Dubuque Spartans.
