The Treasurer’s Office is currently accepting submissions for the Cream of the Crop Photo Contest, which is open to students in Illinois. The contest will feature top photographs in three age-based categories: ages 8‑10, 11‑14, and 15-18. Participants are allowed to submit up to two photos each, with the deadline set for June 14, 2024.

According to the announcement, the Cream of the Crop Photo Contest is a part of the Illinois State Treasurer’s Ag Invest program. It provides students with a platform to display their most creative and picturesque images that reflect their perspective on agriculture in the state.

Selected photos from the contest will receive special recognition by being showcased in Ag Invest marketing materials, the following year's Cream of the Crop calendar, and at the 2024 Illinois State Fair. Additionally, winners in each age category will be granted Bright Start College Savings scholarships.

In light of this opportunity, students are encouraged to submit their entries before the deadline to stand a chance to have their photos featured and to potentially receive scholarships. To participate in the contest, interested individuals can submit their photos electronically as per the guidelines provided.

For more information and to submit your entries, visit the official submission page for the Cream of the Crop Photo Contest.
