The registration deadline for the Sterling Park District's youth basketball league is Nov. 20, according to the Activity Guide at SterlingParks.org.
Each participant will have one game and one practice session each week, with games held at Westwood Fitness and Sports Center, 1600 Westwood Drive.
There are separate leagues for each grade, from kindergarten through fifth grade. Activities will begin Dec. 3 and run through Jan. 28, taking place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays. The heights of the baskets used in each league will be adjusted for each age group.
Cost to participate in any league is $65 per player.
