Jo Daviess information technology committee updates website

The Jo Daviess County Information & Communication Technology Committee met Jan. 25 to update the website.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the committee:

COMMITTEE REPORT

COMMITTEE: Information & Communications Technology CHAIRMAN: Steve McIntyre DATE/TIME: January 25, 2017 at 5:00 pm.

PRESENT:

Maryanne Bennett John Lang

Steve McIntyre Scott Toot

Martin Werner RJ Winkelhake

Others: Joe Kratcha, IT/GIS Director Sgt. Mike Moser, Sheriff’s Office

Dan Reimer, County Administrator

MINUTES

1. Call to Order. Chairman McIntyre called the meeting to order at 5:01 pm.

2. Roll Call and Quorum Establishment. Roll call was taken with all Committee members present

except Bennett and Winkelhake. A quorum was established.

3. Citizens Comments. None

4. Review and possible action of Committee minutes for the meeting on December 28, 2016

(attachment). Toot made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Lang seconded and the motion passed.

5. GIS Update (attachment). The Committee reviewed the monthly GIS update.

6. Discussion on the 2020 Decennial Census (attachment). The Committee reviewed the County’s role in the 2020 Decennial Census which includes participating in the Census Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS) and the Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA) programs.

7. Website Update (attachment). The Committee reviewed the monthly Website update.

8. Information Technology Update (attachment). The Committee reviewed the monthly IT update.

9. Other Matters. None

10. Citizen’s Comments. None.

11. Adjourn. Werner made a motion to adjourn at 5:27 pm. Lang seconded and the motion passed.

The next Committee meeting will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 5:00 pm in the County Board room.
