Report: Chadwick-Milledgeville spent $10,551 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Chadwick-Milledgeville Community Unit School District 399 is up 15 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Carroll County school district spent $9,142 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,551 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 526 to 504.

Chadwick-Milledgeville's spending in 2016-17 was 19 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
