Report: Warren spent $11,752 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Warren Community Unit School District 205 is up 6 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Jodaviess County school district spent $11,139 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,752 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 453 to 413.

Warren's spending in 2016-17 was 9 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
