Chadwick Fire Protection District responded to 13 calls in 2017 - 27.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Chadwick included 13 fires - 13 structure fires.

In all, the department saw $32,500 in fire loss - or about $2,500 per fire.

The Chadwick Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $78,501 in 2017.
