East Dubuque Fire Department responded to 26 calls in 2017 - 3.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in East Dubuque included six fires - two structure fires, two vehicle fires and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $2,000 in fire loss - or about $333 per fire.

The department also received 20 false calls, including one malicious call and 19 other false calls.
