Morrison Fire Department responded to 69 calls in 2017 - 86.5 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Morrison included 41 fires - 19 structure fires, six vehicle fires and 16 other fires.

In all, the department saw $716,500 in fire loss - or about $17,476 per fire.

The department also received 28 false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related death.

The Morrison Fire Department had an annual budget of $94,462 in 2017.
