City of Lanark issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
It’s election time for the City of Lanark.
Petitions for election of offices for independent candidates for the City of Lanark for the Consolidated Election to be held April 2, 2109, are available from the City Clerk and may be circulated starting September 18, 2018. Petitions may be obtained Monday-Thursday between 9 A.M. and 4 P.M. at the City Hall, 111A South Broad Street (815) 493-2431. Petitions must be filed with the City Clerk, Donna Burgh, between December 10-17, 2018.
The offices include: (3) City Aldermen (4 Year Term) and City Clerk (4 Year Term)
The terms of City Aldermen Lance Leverton, Mark Macomber, and Weston Burkholder, expire.
The term of City Clerk, Donna Burgh, Expires.
