City of Morrison issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
Petition circulation begins September 18, 2018 for candidates wishing to take out petitions for the offices of: Ward 1 Alderman, Ward 2 Alderman, Ward 3 Alderman and Ward 4 Alderman in the City of Morrison for the upcoming Consolidated Election to be held April 2, 2019. The City Clerk will be out of the office from October 16 through October 19, 2018 and no petitions will be handed out during this time. Petitions will be available at the City Clerk’s office at 200 West Main Street, Morrison, IL 61270. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
