Training topics that the students will engage in throughout the week include:

Running effective meetings

Organizational life cycles

Legion history

National training initiatives

Leadership in a nonprofit

Membership engagement

Resolution writing

Train the trainer

Creating an effective strategic plan

Creating and/or improving department Legion Colleges

Developing your "why" to belong in The American Legion

The students will also learn how to create training videos and receive leadership scenarios that involves a post-level conflict that they must discuss and decide how to best resolve.

And on Nov. 2, the Legion College Class of 2018 will graduate.
