Chesney wins House District 89 race

Republican Andrew Chesney has been declared the winner in the House District 89 race against Democrat Nicholas Hyde.

With 97 percent of the precincts reporting, Chesney had 62 percent of the vote with a total of 25,170 votes.

Hyde received 38 percent of the vote with a total of 15,397 votes.
